I have a great passion for health and fitness and really believe that food and diet is one of the key components to how our bodies feel and perform. Growing up, sport was serious business for me and I spent a lot of time experimenting with training and nutrition to make myself perform as well as possible.
Serious sport was replaced by (the best job ever if you ask me!) a six year long career as a ski- and snowboard instructor. That 'job' took me around the world, but also further re-iterated the need of proper nutrition to be able to make the body perform, everyday, all season and ensure you still feel great at the end of it!
Healthy food is, unfortunately, sometimes associated with boring, tasteless food and a real chore to 'stick to'. In my opinion, that couldn't be more wrong.
To me, healthy food is vibrant, packed with flavours and textures and never boring, always exciting and most of all - makes you feel fantastic.

These days I'm fortunate to live in New Zealand, paradise itself.. , and with nature this close on my doorstep I never run out of inspiration to create new dishes. We live in the Bay of Plenty and, as the name suggests, we have the luxury of amazing produce grown right around us, all year.
Hopefully you will find some great recipes and inspiration on this site, it is a work in progress and will grow as time goes on.
